Managing online small group ministries
With Fellowship One and WebLink church management software, managing church groups like small groups, cell groups, and community groups has never been easier. You can enable your lay leaders to manage and report on the activities of their small group through your church website, without burdening the church staff. The church staff can easily monitor the health of the small group ministry from within Fellowship One.
A small group ministry and its leaders are an excellent way to keep in close contact with church members.
After a small group has been activated on the church's website, visitors or members can search for and find a group using a variety of filters (location, hobby, topic, etc) and submit a contact form for one or more groups. An email notification is sent immediately to the selected group leader(s). Group leaders can then respond with information about the small group and, if there is a fit, it is easy to add that person to the leader's small group.
Managing a small group or community group
Group leaders often have the most current information about the attendees of that group. Instead of having that information decentralized, WebLink provides management tools that gives group leaders the ability to perform the following functions:
- Add people to a small group
- Update communication values
- Report attendance
- Record the minutes/notes for a meeting
- Send emails to small group members
- Receive and respond to contacts requesting information about the group
