Online giving via credit card or eCheck

Fellowship One Online Giving

Providing the convenience of online giving is rapidly growing in popularity among churches and non-profit organizations. Fellowship One WebLink allows the church to accept tithes and donations online through the church’s existing website.

Individuals can give a one-time gift or create a scheduled donation from the comfort and convenience of their home using most major credit / debit cards or an automatic bank draft (eCheck).

Online giving offers a number advantages to churches such as:

  • Cost-effective - Rates are as low as 2.15% for credit cards and $0.50 flat rate for eChecks (plus payment gateway fees)
  • Convenience - Members are already familiar with leveraging the Internet to make financial transactions such as buying a book or a gift. Now the church can offer that same convenience through their church website.
Regularly scheduled online giving lower the church’s administrative costs, increases the total amount given, and levels out the summer-time giving lull
  • Consistency - Too often members forget to catch-up on their tithes and offering if they have missed the church service due to an illness, vacation, etc. Churches using online giving have found that their giving valleys, especially in the summer time, have been leveled out through the consistency provided with automated, regularly occurring, online giving.
  • Control - Minimizes the need for a church attendee to call the church office to research a specific donation. By providing self-service features that displays a person's giving history, donors can view both scheduled online giving and any other donations that were done through the traditional offering process.
  • Complements - Online donations does not replace traditional methods of giving, such as passing an offering plate, rather it complements those methods by providing additional avenues for members to give. It often results in an increase in the total amount given by the members of the church.
